Seems that every Monday people want to really discuss whatever they can with me. There is no bloody way to escape numerous meetings, questions, etc. Which is all good, of course – it is nice to be in demand. What I don’t understand however is people, who WAIT until they see you physically and then jump at you with a trivial question which could’ve been answered in 5 seconds over email…

I had a serious issue with reading. My attention span is very short and quite simply, I cannot stand doing something for a long time. Reading ONE book, reading it FROM COVER TO COVER – sometimes this feels like work – but in the end, this is the normal state, something I need to get back to.
My mind simply cannot focus as it should.
Writing is another thing – I need to write, just to practise focus. Sometimes it goes well, others, it doesn’t – you can see it here on this blog too ;).

Having a cool sweet day after a week away from home was just dandy. Did some running, did some work around the house and went to some visits. What more can a guy want?

Sometimes it’s fun when a bunch of experienced travelers starts sharing their stories. These range from having the habit to pack at least one pair of socks/t-shirt/undies in your carry on luggage, as the main luggage is quite commonly lost, to avoiding certain airports like the plague.

What’s important is to listen to these stories and simply decide if all mishaps you just experienced on your failed travel are really that bad or you are just a bit too pampered 😉

After a week in Edinburgh… I am exhausted beyond all reason.

When the ubernerd, which usually doesn’t tweet, actually responds to your tweet with something funny. That is something really cool.

Junk food, served with memories from the past = winning combination.

So, the first phase of my goals has been complete. Let’s go for the second one.

being one man band for smaller problems makes me feel alive again.
