It appears that I am failing in my quest to write daily. Yesterday was the first time I simply did not have the energy nor could bring myself in any way to write a sentence or two.
I hope I will be able to continue, even if with short, for most of the non-existent readers meaningless, sentences.
People assume way too much. If I provide a suggestion, people will assume things, based on some general idea of knowing me, thinking about my context and also deriving based on their context and experience. This many variables, where most are out of control and based on some vague notions, can result only in one thing – one hot mess.
Funny, there are some people which can form and manage superficial friendships that are only location/situation based. I had serious issues with that, but can now accept this. Easily. But still funny.

Of course, there are different types of leadership and when people are competent, you can really be the leader, enabler of getting things done. You concentrate on your specific part and on the overall delivery, because everyone in your team needs just a simple nudge here and there and then immediately pulls in the same direction as everyone else.
I won’t describe case with lower-than average performers. Suffice to say, there is a lot guidance, a lot of growth (if people are willing) involved.
When things go really nuts is … when you are with top-notch performers. They will jump from task-to-task, role-to-role and be, in general, more than helpful. Working like that is a real blessing – you should be grateful, when it happens.
As I wrote before, I change places from which I work, to actually make the mental switch for another project. I now started experimenting with time segmentation. So far, it works like a charm!
the book is about priorities. it turns our, there is a group of people who will concentrate on the work to be done only when there is a real urgency to do it. for this kind of folks, it is paramount to prioritize and to go and cater for their high-urgency stuff first. if they don’t, nothing gets done.
