What are you running from?

This is the usual question I get when I tell my uncle that I went running. Two things. He really doesn’t get running as a form of physical activity. But this is OK, as he’s nearing 80yrs, so a totally different generation. However, he always asks me if I’m running away from something. I think he is right. I am running away from all the stress, hecticness (is this a word :)), all the tasks waiting for me and general fatigue, that simply comes if you have a sitting job. So, when I say I am running to be healthy, I really mean all of the above. Good job, my dear uncle – seems we should listen to our elders more ;).
